It will be better if this train starts from Mathura 6am, reach Tanakpur 12:30noon. This will be useful to take bus towards Champawat / Pithorogarh.
Reverse dep 14:00 from Tanakpur, reach Mathura 21:00. Suitable for people coming down from hills to catch at noon.

U can stay the night at KMVN Tanakpur, beside Kali/Sharda River good spot.
Noted your suggestion. Last time, I went from NDLS to Rudrapur by KGM Shatabdi, took a bus to Tanakpur and from there another bus to Champawat & above. Actually I wanted to go from Mathura, but no proper connection.
