After Tirupati -- Chamarajanagar Express reached Chamarajanagar (CMNR) railway station arriving on Platform-2, it's locomotive link, a KJM WDP-4D #40486 was detached and reversed back towards the other side, and parked closer to the rake and the locomotive was shut off.

This Express came so fast at a speed of around 70-80 kmphs between Nanjangud Town (NTW) and Chamarajanagar (CMNR) and reached Chamarajanagar around 8:45am quickly !!!

(AP) railway station in southern Mysuru, towards Mysuru Junction (MYS).

The loco was in Short Hood Front (SHF) mode, and it's OG cab !! Happy to see the Original cab EMD, despite in a Bleed blue avatar !!!

Also to add, the Ashokapuram Railway station is fully electrified, The Mysuru (MYS) -- Ashokapuram (AP) section ( 6 RKMs ) of the Mysuru - Chamarajanagar Railway line is electrified completely but still no electric loco trials have been done. The CRS was commissioned on March end, but it's again postponed to April probably..

Getting prepared for the return journey to Mysuru [ Chamarajapuram (CMJ)] !!!

Chamarajanagar (CMNR) --- Tirupati (TPTY) Express [ Train No: 16219 ] led by KJM WDP-4D #40486. The train was expected to depart at 3:30pm from Chamarajanagar.

I had expected KJM bleed blue WDP-4 #20041 to be the link for the UP route , that is Chamarajanagar (CMNR) --- Tirupati (TPTY) Express , because the same locomotive pulled in the Mysuru (MYS) -- Chamarajanagar (CMNR) Passenger [ Train No: 06233] at platform-1 and as per the RSA, the rake parked at Platform-1 returns back to Mysuru as Express.

But in Chamarajanagar (CMNR), all the 3 Platforms were occupied and KJM WDP-4D #40486 which already had pulled in Express in DN Route, that is that is Tirupati (TPTY) --- Chamarajanagar (CMNR) Express [ Train No: 16220 ] was the only available locomotive on the other side (Towards MYS side), whereas the bleed blue locomotive was on the End of the line side, trapped !!!

Finally the WDP-4D was cranked up, warmed up well with notches, brought to platform-1 and hitched to the rake, and the Express was ready to return back to Mysuru !!!
