Some pictures from my today concluded trip in 12873 Jharkhand swarnajayanti express from Renukut to Anvt. Though I have travelled enough in 12817, this was my first experience with 12873.

Pic 3,4 - Rush at platform to board the train. 12873 attracts crazy patronage from Renukut. 2 mins halt is very less for huge chunk of people who take this train. One good daily superfast is badly needed to cater to the demand from Singrauli - Sonebhadra belt

Pic 7, 8 - After departing on time from Chopan, woke up at 8 AM in shock to see that we were standing at Prayagraj and train was delayed by almost 4 hours, thanks to fog conditions in the route

please wait...Translate to EnglishJust got back from my trip on the 12873 Jharkhand Swarnajayanti Express from Renukut to Anvt. Pic 1 and 2 show the sad state of Renukut station. ECR really needs to step up their game with these stations, they are way behind! Rush at the platform was crazy, barely had time to get on the train. The train got delayed in Renukut but surprisingly arrived early at Chopan. Woke up in Prayagraj and found out we were 4 hours late due to fog. Got a pic of the Amrapali express passing by. After a good run from Kanpur to Delhi, we finally reached ANVT 5 hours late.
