How was the food in 22961? I'll be travelling in a couple of weeks, wanted to know if I can opt for food in this or go for e-catering. Thanks!
Its good that such thing is happening this will leave more berths for long distance travellers/e2e ones.Such thing should happen elsewhere also vacating long distance trains
The food was very bad in 22961
Shatabdi and VB 20902 has a good food. I really didn’t like the food in 22961.
Dry Sabji was very bad, Rice was half cooked and Dry was very thik , the plate was prepackaged as a hotel parcel. It didn’t have food as served in different container In other trains. Plz don’t

Opted for food in 22961, let's see how my experience goes. Return is in 20902 hoping for good food in it. Thanks for the information.

For a normal LHB train speed upgrade from 110-130kmph for 100km they will be 9-10min reduction in timing. So a section of 300-400km will see a reduction of 30min travel time. VBs will also see a reduction of 15-30mins.For 160kmph speed upgrade don't know how time they will reduce and target avg speed.
Both ADI BCT VB and Tejas will run with decent/full occupancy (obviously except lean season like rainy seasons days with no festivals days) because of 40 min gap in their departure from ADI. Many passengers who do not mind reaching bit late at their destinations ( Surat/Vapi/Mumbai) will rather prefer leaving their homes 40 min later in the early morning to catch Tejas as they want to minimise disturbance to their sleep and morning routine by not opting for VB which departs 40 min early than Tejas.
What about LJN Dehradun Schedule..do we have understanding when is commercial run starting

jab aishbagh and badshahnagar meter gauge the tab to LKO pe isse zada load tha lekin aaj kam load mein bhi handle nahi kar paa raha hai

Our train got sided at Billimora junction and Vande Bharat (22962) crossed the train from behind (coming from Ahmedabad) but I have noticed the train colour was White and blue. Another Vande Bharat (20901) crossed us (coming from Mumbai) with same white blue colour. So, My question is why both having same colour? Train #22962 suppose to have Orange colour. Anyone knows the answer?

ADI saffron VB rake is now running with 20977/78 between AII-CDG . It was a HRPT train set not fit for trials I guess .
