For the first time, the train is packed in both directions on one of the 4 days of its operation... Huge demand and low fares. People willing to suffer some inconvenience...

Yeah some inter city trains may be converting like this....I feel some thing is better than nothing.In many of the places our railways are making good efforts to meet traffic.Let them up grade.
The response is not expected to be overwhelming... moderate only
surely railway can acquire sleeper rakes for such a productive sector but the intent and will is missing to do so..entire day journey from Pune to NGP will not be entertained by pax untill and unless absolutely dead necessary ..it will be used more like for intermediate stations short distances ranging from 200 to 300 km ..the only silver lining about this special is , it is fast and the summer season has gone so will be pleasant for the entire day ...
