Northern Railway came up with a surprising decision last month to switch the traction of Lucknow AC Superfast Express from electric to diesel. Adding a delightful twist, a pair of newly painted locomotives in identical livery, WDP-4D 40335 'Bibi Dalair Kaur' and 40293 'Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon' began making regular appearances. Not wanting to miss this golden opportunity, here's what I managed to capture. Apart from Lucknow AC Superfast; Prayagraj Sangam - Rishikesh Express, Begampura Express, Janta Express, Saharsa - Amritsar Garib Rath, Varanasi- Bareilly Express can also be seen in the video.
