Yes it should be in next budget but the way CR and KR are working it looks like they dont want this rake.
Its surprise and wonder how all of a sudden there is no platform for JS at MAO? Karmali may be geographically center of GOA, near to Capital PANAJI and can become a terminal but MAO is Goas commercial capital and also a junction. Its like you can terminate all konkan trains at Panvel and people can take local trains for Mumbai. Its like you move a train terminal from Dadar to Kurla.

more... is not a business center. And konkan railway route is not like Mumbai- Delhi or Ahmedabad route. Goa is a tourist place.The hotel check in/out is mostly 12 noon. Konkan kanya is always waitlist as it reaches margao by 12. You cannot expect reservations for a train reaching at 4:30 pm. You cannot except people boarding at 7:00 am at karmali. DD will have to run on JS timings or half an hour early and that too up to margao. This might reduce rush of KK. If there is any train from south terminating at margao then take it up to Karmali and then in return direction. SO all will benefit.
Let the halts for DD be Thane, Panvel, (No Chiplun) Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali and margao.
Let JS leave half an hour late from Dadar and up to may be Sawantwadi with Roha, Khed, Vaibhavwadi, Sindudurg as additional halts along with current one. Lots of people who stand and travel in JS will get reservations and pantry boys will be happy as they can serve properly.
