Nothingispermanentvalid~ 580 blog postsIn my opinion railways should extend 12881/82 Puri Shalimar Garibrath upto Ranchi jn via Hijli, Tatanagar , and should also change the coach composition of this upto 22 coaches instead of 16 coaches.
But Kolkata have many towards Puri but Ranchi have only 1 daily train towards Puri so route of this train can be changed.
That's never going to happen. There are many trains between Kolkata and Puri because of demand, and trains can't be diverted to a new place, especially since the train is well patronized.
There used to be one DHN BBS GR, that could've been reintroduced and maybe extended till Puri if needed.
