I travelled by DWR-SUR passenger between DWR and UBL, at every station between DWR to Hubbali there was a crossing with freight. This line has become too busy now.
Exactly, they would have first took this doubling on priority, even before dwr-lwr. I heard land acquisition issue near navalur and unkal delayed this piece of doubling.

holeyannavarng 53 blog postsAn new train is needed for passenger to travel to Nagpur. It would be better fro SWR to start it. If the train departs at 5.30PM Hubli, it will reach Miraj at 10.30 PM. From miraj if it departs to Kurdawadi at 10.40 it will reach Kurdawadi at 2.10. AM. and there are no train going to Latur or Prabhani at this time. Then if it departs at 2.15 Am to Prabhani then via Akola and then to Nagpur It would be best route travel. If Indian Railway starts this would be benefical to many passengers as there are no train service to these places properly.

sachinature~ 8589 blog postsHow about extending this train to Pune as an overnight FP with an extra rakes on other side, there is no night passenger on this route. We have SUR-PUNE Pass and UBL-SBC FPass.
