As per the source, RM has declined the proposed extension of Charminar Express. However, he has assured of a new train service from CHZ towards down south (Instead of Charminar extension).

When its the first train in the route or only new connection it should be mixed rake as all classes need connectivity. Amrit Bharat in south should be in routes which have high demand for GS and Sleeper travel in other words in routes already 2 daily trains are running.
Great move. Hope they will introduce a new train for that route.
The new train between hyd Chennai should introduce via mbnr krnt .after extension of 17651/52 to chengalpattu and pondicherry this areas lost dedicated train to Chennai. Kzj ,bza ,nlr route have many train to Chennai,.nlg gnt nlr have hyb mas exp .but krnt mbnr have only this by extension to pdy .they lost quota so that new hyd Chennai train should run via mbnr krnt
Good to see railway ministry in senses. Hope this will put stop to all future demands also.
A new train from CHZ via KCG, Kurnool, RU (for TPTY pax) , TRT, AJJ bypass, KPD, TNM, VM, TJ, TPJ, MDU, VPT, TEN, NCJ would be a hit.

reddylohith22^~ 1035 blog postsextending KCG CGL till NCJ for 4 days/Daily will be better rather sending Charminar, as already KCG CGL/PDY is half ruined and now ruining charminar exp will be worthless. Atleast Charminar/Sambar SF will be dedicated to chennai. Anyways KCG CGL/PDY is mostly being used by Tirupathi Travelers Rather chennai pax. this will create alternative for NCJ pax for TPTY also.
17653/54- operated as a triweekly with single rake by making it operated in alternative days with 1 hr late departure from both the ends via-TPTY,KPD,TNM,VM,PDY.
17651/52- can be operated as dedicated daily...
