From jajpur to Bhadrak for a distance of 45km they have given running time of 2+ hrs so the late in Visakhapatnam Cuttack will be covered in the section daily and nothing special. From Cuttack to Bhadrak 180km took 2.5 hrs avg speed 72kmph which is normal speed in this route.

Literally smashed the Kolkata-Chennai route today.
Kolkata to Chennai in less than 24 hrs and BZA-MAS in just 5 hrs 11 mins @83 kmph.. What a run.
The legend in destructive mood completely.. Truly the coastal king..

I agree zonal HQ needs to interfere but think otherwise. I'll give examples of SER only. Compare the maintenance of TATA and HTE CDOs. You'll see the difference. "Zameen Aasmaan ka fark hai"

SRC CDO does the maintainance of rakes very poorly, specially the Toilets of coaches of trains of SRC CDO is in very bad condition in almost 80%of coaches.
New depot at Shalimar is getting ready, don't know how will they do because Vande Bharat trains will be started soon and interior cleaning of VB rakes must be good.

SRC maintenance is nearly good for short distance Intercity trains. Never had to travel in long distance trains maintained by SRC except Gitanjali in its ICF days. Had a mixed experience of cleanliness.
