Yes the another importance of these above mentioned lines are that they connect Bidar-Gulbarga-wadi-raichur to SWR region bypassing trunk route and run trains to bengaluru via these lines.It would my dream to see trains running in this way.

Yes you were right no one takes serious for demands of this region.. Again the demands goes useless. Why in past Politicians of Ballari not took interest in rail infra? How now they asking demands for showoff to get votes...
