In the last ever Trip that I went on before the Lockdown started, I had been to Toothukudi (Tuticorin) for a training. For my return Journey, I decided to visit Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, one of 6 abodes of Lord Murugan in Tamilnadu. From there, I boarded the 16106 Tiruchendur - Chennai Egmore Express. This train is the only express train plying in the Tiruchendur - Tirunelveli branch line; it's coach composition and their positions are more or less fixed, owing to platform length issues of the station in this route. Therefore, the coach board indicators of all the halts in this route for this train are printed and displayed on Poles.

Listen to some awesome track sounds as my train goes on a rampage through the Cauvery delta districts alongwith hardcore chugging and classic alco honking. Captured while onboard evening TPJ-MV passenger hauled by GOC alco along with a dead ED WDP4D 40199 on 23rd December 2017. Travelled from TPJ till KMU. For classic alco honk,listen to clip 2 and clip 3(especially from 00:43 second). I felt as if I was onboard a Superfast. Never gave me the feel of a Passenger train. Such was the performance of the alco. I had also captured /blog/post/3055949 on the same day.

Even I travelled by 56113 on May 29.Hitted 100 like a boss.GOC ALCo was the link.Really did job like a SF.
SR should increase the number of coaches. Goes jam packed in the evening. More audio of alcos coming up soon.
