Lovedale is a little town situated in the Nilgiri Hills in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
The NMR (UNESCO World Heritage Site) passes through Lovedale. Lovedale is the second last railway station on the route to Ooty from Mettupalayam and is also the highest station on the entire route.
Ooty is deep within the Nilgiri hills, is also known as The Blue Mountains.
Ooty is a town, a municipality and the district capital of the Nilgiris district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 80 km north of Coimbatore. Ootacamund is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills.
The Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) is one of the oldest mountain railways in India. The NMR was declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in July 2005. This connects Ootacamund with the town of Mettupalayam, at the foothills of the Nilgiri Mountain

correct,I was in coach next to loco and there was window opening parallel to LP seat..that;s why this view :)
These coaches don't have vestibules..
I will post a pic of same tomorrow may be which should make more sense.. :)

Here I am with my first MG upload on youtube. Video of Udagamandalam (Ooty) 360 degree view, also my first capture of any GOC shed loco,just love this green livery.You can see a black pipeline adjustment to loco for diesel filling. Was ready for departure after 15minutes.
