Mismanagement ka kya hai naa ! NR is less efficient while NER is efficient hence the gap.
NR mei MB div followed LKO div are famous all around.

As u said ASH sud b made Div. HQ. I jst realised ek time tha Charbagh(s) k baad BNZ was next imp. stn. But it seems ASH has took the lead now.
As day by day, Relevance of ASH is increasing, it requires proper road connectivity.

Further, I wish Lucknow City naam ka Stn naa hota toh ASH ko Lucknow City rename kar dete or may b some other suffix.
Or may b LC ko Old Lucknow or Lucknow Chowk or QaiserBagh or something rename kar do.
