RailwayFiles~ 265 blog postsObserved this train at Balharshah railway station while my train Tamil Nadu express was standing beside, all sleeper coaches of this train were extremely crowded full of unreserved travellers, saw some crowd in 3rd ac coaches too not only near the doors but inside the coach too. 2AC is fine. Any body planning to visit Varanasi especially along with family/old age people, must be cautious while booking tickets. This is the same scenario in almost all the trains going towards Varanasi.
Majority of the trains to UP from south India and Mumbai Gujarat have similar situations
Yeah, and these days it became too common to see extremely crowded sleeper coaches, all the south bound trains from UP, Bihar, Howrah, NE are in pathetic condition. Frequent travellers and rail fans knows this and avoid booking sleeper tickets in those trains, but what about those people who plan a budget piligrimage to Varanasi and Gaya with their family ? They dont know about the current scenario, once their train reaches the platform, neither they can travel nor they can cancel their plan
