is this train is still runing, when i am searching to go to kalka from patna, there is nn any train is available in this route, ,,, ,,,
There is no direct train from Patna to Kalka.
However 11 kms from Patna is Sonpur Junction. From Sonpur you can board Dibrugarh Chandigarh Express/5903. But this train terminates at CHANDIGARH itself. Kalka is just 39 Kms from Chandigarh. Buses and taxis are available in plenty. If you hire a taxi, then in between Chandigarh and Kalka, you can make a Stop at PINJORE and visit PINJORE GARDENs. A nice place built and developed by the erstwhile rules of princely PATIALA state. It is now under the control of Haryana Tourism Corp.

yes, the train is running. first coach is slip coach of 4887 exp
is this train running nowadays? when i searched for train no. 3008 in trainenquiry.com, it showed error.
secondly, i have come to know that barnala station will stop working for about 10 days sometimes around march 2010. what are the exact dates?
