via Digod ka plan sayyad cancelled ho gaya hain. via BAZ karne se just Kali Sindh River ke upar hi ek bridge banana padhega. But via Digod 2 Rail bridges on River Kali Sindh & River Parbati banana padhega.
Aisa nahi hoga kyo ki SOE-KOTA Via BAZ bahut lamba ho jayega...Shivpuri- Kota Via BAZ ek project hai jo abhi sanction nahi hua hai Survey chal rha hai...
Railway me is project ka final route jaari ker diya hai GWL- KOTA 284 kms hai...GWL-SOE tak kaam NCR Karega uske baad SOE-KOTA WCR under rahega. First phase me SBL- Jaura Second phase Jaura- Gwalior, Third phase Sheopur- Digod...
Matlab ye route Gwalior-Sabalgarh-Sheopur-Digod-Kota rahega? Maine to Jhansi-Shivpuri-Kota line ka bhi padha tha kahin...
Jhansi-Shivpuri-Sheopur-Sawaimadhopur alag line hai aur Gwalior-Sheopur-Kota alag line hai...aur Shivpuri-Kota ke liye bhi survey proposed hai...agar IR sirf GC aur Sheopur-Sawai madhopur line bna de to bhi ye line Jhansi to Sawai madhopur hi connect karegi aur distance bhi equal hai

On the roof top we travel to Sheopur Kalan from Gwalior!
This is the perhaps the longest 2ft Narrow Gauge railway in the world. Winding it's way thick brush forests and jagged ravines, the railway is a lifeline for the people of this area. Buses are twice as expensive and take the same time as the train, so this train is always crowded.

For how long will these continue??? I guess gauge conversion project will kick off in the near future..
