There could be multiple reasons for this train running so empty. Firstly, the arrival time at Bikaner is 4.30 AM which is too odd for 6 hour journey. Secondly, tourists generally prefer planned travel (with proper reservations in hand) and avoid travelling by unreserved coaches. Railways must consider adding reserved coaches to this train to generate more traffic.

yes timing is very odd ,, i think due to RSA ,, nd i think only tourists cant make any ICE successful ,,,,,
We traveled by this train from Jaisalmer to Bikaner on 29th March 2013. The train has no reserved compartments. While our traveling, the train was empty and each passenger comfortably got one berth to sleep. It seems this train is hardly used by local people and tourists, possibly because of inconvenient arrival timing at Bikaner
This train has rake sharing with train no 12468 and 14704. Mods pls update

Well, I am sorry to say that I have absolutely no idea about that. The members here who have travelled in it would be able to tell you that. Regarding 1st class, I don't think it is reserved even if there, since I checked out IRCTC but found no reservation classes for this. You would have to enquire that yourself, as we dont have much info about this train here. :(
