Nevertheless, I had a ticket for today (26 October 2023) in 12069 RIG G Janshatabdi Express from Bilaspur to Raipur. The train arrived bang on time at Bilaspur which shocked me as it is SECR area😂
The PF 4 of my train had been pre-occupied by 12102 Jnaneswari Express. As soon as it departed, the signals for my train were given for arrival. My train had not even been stationary, by then 18250 Hasdeo Express on the adjacent platform started moving. My coach was 3rd from the last so it was difficult to hear honks. The train departed 2 mins behind its scheduled departure. Janshatabdi took revenge by overtaking Hasdeo Express at Belha which overtook it at Bilaspur.
Reached Bhatapara delayed by 4 minutes and departed with same delay. Till Tilda Neora the delay increased to 6 minutes. Slowed down near Siliari, crossed statoon at restricted speed and crawled for the next 2 minutes. After that we gained speed. From Mandhar, the actual SECR game started. We were ontime now. To cross long haul freight, the train was stopped 5 times within 10 kms. Reached Raipur PF 1 delayed by 30 mins all thanks to SECR. I had to catch my city bus of 10:54 but reached the station at 10:55 and missed it. Had to take the next bus at 11:48.
Regarding comfort, the seats are damn comfortable, more than what is expected in LHB sitting arrangement. Coaches are well maintained, 2021 manufactured. Red LHB Chaircars amused me here. The sitting pattern is not like those 3×3 chairs but 3×3 attached together as a single seat. Each row faces the front row that is, you get to see the person in your front regardless of where you sit. Cushioning is also of good quality. An overall good experience except delays.

I hopped on board last night (October 25, 2023) from Tata and we ended up rollin' into Bilaspur 40 minutes late because of some train lineup mess with the 18030, 12810, 20828, and 12102 all gettin' in our way from Tata itself.
But check this out, I had a ticket for today (October 26, 2023) on the 12069 RIG G Janshatabdi Express from Bilaspur to Raipur. And guess what? That train actually arrived right on freakin' time in Bilaspur, which blew my mind since it's the SECR area, ya know? 😂
So here's the deal at my train's platform, PF4, it was already taken by the 12102 Jnaneswari Express. As soon as it bounced, the signals turned green for my train to slide on in. My train hadn't even fully stopped yet, when the 18250 Hasdeo Express on the platform next to us started rollin'. My coach was the third from the end, so I couldn't even hear the honks properly. We ended up leaving 2 minutes later than scheduled. Janshatabdi got revenge by overtakin' the Hasdeo Express at Belha, but then the Hasdeo Express took over again at Bilaspur.
We rolled into Bhatapara, 4 minutes behind schedule, and left with the same delay. By the time we hit Tilda Neora, the delay had increased to 6 minutes. We slowed down near Siliari, rolled past the station at a slow speed, and then crawled for the next 2 minutes. After that, we kicked up the speed. When we hit Mandhar, that's when the real SECR game began. We were back on freakin' time. But hold up, to pass a long haul freight train, they stopped our train 5 freakin' times within a measly 10 kilometers. We finally reached Raipur PF1, 30 minutes behind schedule, all thanks to SECR. I was supposed to catch my city bus at 10:54, but I reached the station at 10:55 and missed it. Had to catch the next bus at 11:48.
Now let's talk about comfort. Yo, them seats on the train are hella comfy, way better than what you'd expect for a regular ol' sitting setup. The coaches are kept in good condition, all manufactured in 2021. I was entertained by the red LHB chaircars they got goin'. The seating arrangement isn't like those regular 3x3 chairs, it's more like three chairs attached together as one seat. Each row faces the front row, so you can peep the person sittin' in front of ya, no matter where you're at. The cushions are also good quality. Overall, it was a dope experience, except for the freakin' delays.

Main Tatanagar se Bilaspur ke liye onboard tha 20828 Humsafar Express par. Kal raat (25 October 2023) Tata se chadha aur Bilaspur delay ho kar pahuncha, 40 minute ki line-up ki wajah se, 18030-12810-20828-12102, sab Tata se hi shuru ho kar pahunche.
Phir bhi, mere paas aaj ka ticket tha (26 October 2023) 12069 RIG G Janshatabdi Express ka, Bilaspur se Raipur ke liye. Train bilkul time par Bilaspur pahunchi, mujhe hairani hui kyunki yeh SECR area hai. 😂
Meri train ki PF 4 par pehle se hi 12102 Jnaneswari Express tha. Jaise hi woh chali gayi, meri train ke liye signal diye gaye. Meri train toh abhi tak khadi bhi nahi thi, usi samay aas-pass wale platform par 18250 Hasdeo Express chalne lagi. Meri coach last se 3rd thi, isliye horn sunne mein mushkil ho gayi. Train schedule se 2 minute late chali. Janshatabdi ne badla le liya aur Hasdeo Express ko Belha mein overtake kiya, jo Bilaspur mein phir usko overtake kar gayi.
Bhatapara 4 minute late pahuncha aur wahi delay ke saath chala. Tilda Neora tak delay 6 minute ho gayi. Siliari ke paas speed slow ho gayi, station par restricted speed mein cross kiya aur agle 2 minute tak crawl kiya. Uske baad speed badh gayi. Mandhar se actual SECR ka khel shuru ho gaya. Ab hum time par the. Lambi freight train ko cross karne ke liye, train ko 10 kms ke andar 5 baar roka gaya. Raipur PF 1 par 30 minute late pahuncha, SECR ki wajah se. Mujhe 10:54 ki city bus pakadni thi, lekin mai station par 10:55 par pahuncha aur miss ho gaya. Mujhe 11:48 ki next bus leni padi.
