Train Forum
This train was running through jtj byepass .. now the route is shown through hosur in the time table... How can this train come to kjm and connect to hosur line? Anyone who can clarify this doubt?
From KJM, it is not possible to go via Hosur. For this to happen, the train has to undergo LR and go to BYPL or BNC and again Loco reversal.

If we add tirupattur as passing station, it can fix route in IRI.. let me add it
It has been given lot of slack from YNK to KJM (2:10 hours schedule).. even if it crawls... it could make it in 35 mins....
They can reduce an hour atleast.... so that it reaches CBE at 5:30

Originally it was running via Dharmapuri, Hosur. Since those areas are not covered now, this train can take the faster route via Perambur.

KonguNadu Exp should have PC and it should be Speeded up in both the directions and should be made Bi-Weekly this is such an important train after KL Exp!
Sad thing is it shares the time slot of Samara.. Would be good if it trails KSK within an hour gap..
Pantry car is surely needed. One more suggestion- if it runs via Tirupati or Perambur, travelling time will be reduced by 5 hours, which can help in increasing frequency to bi-weekly.
This is a dedicated train for connecting Coimbatore - Bangalore - Hyderabad - Delhi.
