2. Train No. 16585 SMVT Bengaluru - Murdeshwar Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Hassan.

3. Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar - SMVT Bengaluru Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Sakleshpur.

4. Train No. 16512 Kannur - KSR Bengaluru Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Sakleshpur.

5. Train No. 16596 Karwar - KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Super-Fast Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Donigal.
Food and Tea arrangements have been made at the stations.

Relief material with rescue team is present for the purpose and restoration works are under progress.

Senior Officers led by Shri Arvind Srivastava, General Manager, Shri K S Jain Additional General Manager and Principal Heads of Departments are monitoring the situation closely. Ms. Shilpi Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru is supervising for restoration works.

Monday, August 6th. Normal train services are expected to resume afterwards. The cancellations are due to a landslide between Edakumeri and Kadagaravalli stations under the South Western Railway jurisdiction. Affected trains include the KSR Bengaluru-Kannur Express (16511), Kannur-KSR Bengaluru Express (16512), KSR Bengaluru-Karwar Special Express (16595), Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Express (16596), SMVT Bengaluru-Murdeshwar Express (16585), Murdeshwar-SMVT Bengaluru-Murdeshwar Express (16586), Vijayapura-Mangaluru Central Express (07377), Mangaluru Central-Vijayapura Special Express (7378), Yeshwanthpur Junction-Karwar Express (16515), Karwar-Yeshwanthpur Junction (18516), and Mangaluru Junction-Yeshwanthpur Junction Express (16576). These cancellations are expected to cause inconvenience for passengers travelling to Malnad and Coastal regions.

A separate landslide on National Highway 75 in the Shiradi Ghat Yattinahalla-Sakaleshpura sector has also caused disruptions, with vehicles stuck on either side of the landslide. Shiradi Ghat Yattinahalla-Sakaleshpura sector mein National Highway 75 pe bhi ek bada landslide hua hai jisse highway pe chalne wali gadiyaan landslide ke dono taraf phans gayi hain. Highway department ke staff road clear karne ke liye kaam kar rahe hain aur unka kehna hai ki road shayad Saturday evening ya Sunday morning tak clear ho jaayegi.
