MLDTWAG9HC~ 1428 blog postsAs the rake of 13418/17 Malda Town Digha Express is mainly stabled at Sujnipara stn after Sat , so inorder to reduce the lieover time Railways should run Krishnanagar - NJP Express using the same rake via Nashipur Bridge 3 days a week. With this KNJ, BPC, AZ, JRLE will get one more train for NJP after overcrowded Teesta Torsha & Kamrup

Proposal is no doubt good, but who will bell the cat to MLDT division. As per I know, SDAH will be more interested to run this.
Fir bhi 5 din lieover hai uska . Same day pe journey end ho jati hai dono traino ke
MLDT Div officials are mostly busy with Bhagalpur all the time , so in 2026 if MPs of Ranaghat, Krishnanagar, Baharampur( although Yusuf Pathan will never demand new trains for his constituency) etc demand then it's possible

Bhagalpur is most revenue generating Station of Malda Division.
Even Malda Town is below of BGP in terms of revenue. That's why much preference is given to BGP.
