Today's chennai bound 22672 Madurai Jn - Chennai Egmore Tejas Express arrived from madurai with ponmalai based dual cab Electromotive Diesel locomotive numbered 40339 that is adorned in green. Behind this, a dual cab white electric locomotive having a power equivalent to that of 6350 horses and elonging to royapuram shed of chennai numbered 39119 was waking up after a short nap at Tiruchirapalli. That was powering thereafter for the rest of the journey. The former was detached at Tiruchirapalli.
