I was travelling today on this train only. Delayed by 50 mins. After entering SWR division, stopped at many places due to the traffic.

This double dekker is successful train running from past 12 years. 2ACC are replaced with 2GS and total 5GS are running now with 600 new capacity. It would not be scrapped or replaced with intercity coaches. In future you may see introduction of Vande Metro with 16 coaches with fare in between GS and ACC.
This DD is doing well. Now with the addition of 5 2S coaches, it may be on par with Brindavan...
Not now. But Maybe after 4-5 yrs. If they introduce any new DD rakes, then we can expect the replacement. And this is one of the successful trains b/w MAS & SBC. And CC price is just 580 only which is less than the price of AC VOLVO Buses, Shatabdis, VBs and 3AC of Overnight trains b/w MAS-SBC.
Heading back to my home on-board one of the most occupied trains to&fro Bengaluru.... Brindavan SF Express 👍

Rush in 2S is good in both trains. DD still has lot of vacant spaces. Yes, it is maintaining its puncuality
SBC-CBE Uday regularly late by 15-20 Minutes at Salem and CBE-SBC regularly late by 15-20 minutes at KJM
If we look at end to end data, they are ontime. In between slacks cannot be considered for delays
I am saying based on stations where maximum people board and deboard
All trains are delayed by 15-20 mins at KJM. Its a regular thing.
