This is indirectly a fight between vskp and puri/bbs trains. But I believe, 12801 will surely win.👑
Pura gang bana diya tha Purushottam ka band bajane ke liye. Lekin woh gang ka attempt fail ho gaya.
ECoR should go with the extension of Maurya Express upto PURI for a dedicated train from Puri to Gorakhpur.
2 problems are solved. But one more is waiting. Jaipur Extension.
And I hope that will also get cancel, because in winters, NR and NWR won't be able to manage this extension.

But anyways Railways should upgrade the SF standards to atleast 60kph average speed now in addition SF trains should also have the criteria that no halts allowed within a certain distance.
This can be a good news. But what main thing is that, the order of recategorization of 12801 should be cancelled. It deserves to run as SF only.
Now I understood that Renumbering will not happen. And this train will continue as it was. Thats the good news. 👍. Thank God.

12801 is highest revenue generating train. Runs fully jampacked throughout the year. Now if railway does this, railway will only face the loss in revenue. And someone tell me, why 12875 is not de-graded instead of 12801. Even 12875 TT is slower, already having too much halts in central UP due to which its Avg speed is too slow to qualify as SF. Even its priority is too poor having SF category
