click here 1869 IR Bradshaw Map (Page 428) show no Rail Link for JTJ-BNC. State Railways never show in British India Map (Gaekwar's Baroda State Railway dont show in Map which was active in that Era)!! BNC-JTJ MG was Mysore State owned whose BG Portion wasnt even under construction (as RC-GY & Nilgiri Portion can be seen under construction)!! No through SBC Mail even in 1869-70.SUR-HYB Portion show as it belong to GIP (HYB-SDB/WADI was Nizam's Rail which hasnt commenced in 1869)

click here BNC-JTJ 1862 Line built & run by Mysore State as a part to connect Mysore with Madras (MYS State always built MG). The first train which was termed Bangalore Mail was MG which provide link to MAS-TPT Train (MG to BG) & this in no situation is the current SBC-MAS Mail (Even link to commensurate 150 Years of Service highlights 149 Kms BNC-JTJ run by Mail) !!Madras Railway finished BG Royapuram-SBC in 1879 (probably BNC-JTJ finished in 1868). As per attached Pic, JTJ-BNC BG work was given to Madras Railway past completion of BNC-JTJ MG!!

The document shows MAS-BNC was connected only in 1869 (although JTJ-BNC got connected in 1864). There is no chance for MAS-SBC Mail to run through or Sectional Carriage & JTJ-BNC is too small to run Mail Service!!I tried to find the reason but failed as if BNC-JTJ was MG in start or if it was missing alignment from 1864-1869!!Pic 2: No Through Train/Coach till Dec 1864 for MAS-BNC!! Only in 1868-69 Through Train shows MAS-Beypore use to tow MAS-BNC & BNC-CBE Ordinary. This Inaugural Date needs to be corrected (year 1868-69 is sure) & i invite vital information about the same!!...
