Once upon a time in P.C.E; on a sultry Summer afternoon saw us in Garhmukteshwar Bridge. Located on the banks of the River Ganga (Ganges); this picturesque station is part of a huge and slightly sharp curve. Of the many clips taken that day, this one is quite close to heart. TKD's WDM-3A chugged its heart out and accelerated past with the 22 coach combined load of Uttarakhand Sampark Kranti Express from Kathgodam and the Link Express from Ramnagar. It is the slowest Sampark Kranti Express of Indian Railways going by its Average Speed; but back in its day, it was one of the few non-premium trains to do Delhi - Moradabad non stop. This was one such occasion. My Friend Nitin and I decided to head to the Moradabad line for some soaking in some diesel action.
