Following announcement of 296 km GKP ⇌ LKO Vande Bharat via AY,we have mixed response from rail enthusiasts.Few wanted it to be till PRYJ (as per old news rumors) whereas some were against the alphabet 'C' shaped route. Since it was made to restricted till LKO, few suggested to extend it to CNB. there were other suggestions as well.But Layover of 9 hrs is not at all appreciated.It would be good if the premium Vande Bharat is used optimally between the best possible destinations so that it not only earns revenue for IR but reduces crowd on the other trains.
