Lioness killed near Khadkala village in Savarkundla Taluka. Train No. 22994 Mahuva - Bandra T. Superfast Express was heading towards Liliya Mota when a 3 - 5 year old lioness was crossing the track near LC No. 52 and was hit by the train. Serious injuries were reported on her back and legs and lioness had died on the spot. Savarkundla Forest range team came and took carcass of lioness to start investigation.
