Raids were conducted in various cities across the three railway divisions (Bilaspur, Raipur, and Nagpur), including Bilaspur, Raipur, Raigarh, Brajrajnagar, Nagpur, Nainpur, Korba, Bhilai, Anuppur, Shahdol, Ambikapur, Manendragarh, Rajnandgaon, and Dongargarh. Since June 2024, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the South East Central Railway (SECR) has apprehended 144 illegal ticket brokers, seizing ₹42,90,614 worth of tickets. Additionally, an extra AC-3 economy coach is being added to the 20971/20972 Udaipur-Shalimar-Udaipur Express from August 3rd to August 31st to accommodate a higher number of passengers. This additional coach will be available on train number 20971 from August 3rd to 31st and on train number 20972 from August 4th to September 1st.
