Western Railway ne signal failure ke dauran diye jaane wale travel authorities mein inconsistencies ke baare mein clarification maangi hai, aur Automatic Block System se related General and Subsidiary Rules 2008 edition mein contradictions pe bhi light daali hai. Southern Railway ke Chennai Division ne, Kanchanjunga accident ka havala dete hue, running staff, jismein loco pilots bhi shamil hain, ke liye abnormal conditions mein automatic signalling section mein kaam karne ke liye special training program announce kiya hai.
