The cancellations are due to a landslide between Edakumeri and Kadagaravalli stations under the South Western Railway jurisdiction. Affected trains include the KSR Bengaluru-Kannur Express (16511), Kannur-KSR Bengaluru Express (16512), KSR Bengaluru-Karwar Special Express (16595), Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Express (16596), SMVT Bengaluru-Murdeshwar Express (16585), Murdeshwar-SMVT Bengaluru-Murdeshwar Express (16586), Vijayapura-Mangaluru Central Express (07377), Mangaluru Central-Vijayapura Special Express (7378), Yeshwanthpur Junction-Karwar Express (16515), Karwar-Yeshwanthpur Junction (18516), and Mangaluru Junction-Yeshwanthpur Junction Express (16576). These cancellations are expected to cause inconvenience for passengers travelling to Malnad and Coastal regions.
