I think that puru is the worst maintained LHB rake among all in the complete IR network

If wish to travel from Tatanagar to Delhi , and getting heavy waiting list or regret in this train for SL class, then Book Kharagpur to New delhi and change boarding point to Tatanagar.
Tata is in RLWL quota whereas KGP is in GNWL quota, thus having more chance of confirmation or atleast getting RAC if take GNWL below 60-70 in Sleeper class.

Flight kise pasand hai ?
Train ka apna alag mazaa hota hai...Flight is a Boredom and very hassled travelling option & i always keep it as the LAST MOST option.
For travelling to Odisha , i always prefer Rajdhani for AC and Odisha Sampark kranti for SL class. I also don't prefer Purushottam due to crowd and awkward timings at BLS.

KGP to NDLS Rajdhani toh best hai....And agar SL travel karna ho toh Howrah toh hai hi Paas mein......;)
Except during winter, the most punctual train to New Delhi, after Rajdhani.
Best Train to Reach Delhi Early Morning. Has LBH Coaches. Morning Snacks served around Purulia Jn (Veg Cutlet / Omlete / Sometimes Upma) is my sure shot.
Never touches 110 kmph... int MGS-NDLS section... max is 108. Badly Affected in the MGS-MZP and CNB-NDLS section

If 12801 Purushottam leaves ALD jn 5-45mins before Poorva/Shiv Ganga ..good chances that it will get reach NDLS before these two but 14055 Brahmaputra will be always taken by Shiv Ganga before GZB even though it goes to DLI and has no issue of sharing platforms in NDLS
