Because,after the arrival of QLN-ALLP passenger( /train/2720/58/54 )GS will be completely filled and there will be a healthy queue at the ticket counter too at that time

On an average almost 1 hour stop at srr when train is moving towards alleppey. I guess they want it to move at such time so that it reaches ernakulam somewhere at 6:30 pm
Check the slack between AWY and ERS, that is the reason why it is held up at SRR in case of on time arrivals.
Runs as passenger after coimbatore.One of the Slowest trains,Pantry is the worst.
Because of the timings, it does cater to lots of intermediate passengers and thus all the more surprising to see that despite being such a slow train why so many people board this train. Quite strange to see stops like tiruvallur,gudiyattam,vaniyambadi,bommidi,samalpat ti being allotted to this train .
