adityaudaykamat 18 blog postsTrain was punctual enough. Travelled from Panvel to Ratnagiri on December 20, 2021 in Sleeper Class. Punctuality was good. Slightly delayed departure from Panvel (about 15 minutes), early arrival at Ratnagiri (about five minutes). Pantry car is functioning, giving Biryani, tea and other stuff at regular intervals. Food quality is decent. Hygeine, however is a major issue in this train. All toilets were choked with excreta, and their floors damp and soiled and almost none of them had a working flush. Very good chance of getting tatkal tickets if you're ready on time (10am for AC, 11am for non AC). Most of the journey in the Konkan occurs in daytime, so a plus point for Railfans.

I travelled from Kota to Surat and it has reached 15 earlier.
Talk about the speed of this train well this train have marvelous speed but still i think that this can be speed up more.

Subeesh Venugopal~ 6165 blog postsno toilets from s2 to s4 have flushes. i really don't understand why this much negligence?? It was too frustrating to travel.
from out side it self we can decide the heights of cleanliness of this train
there are no name plates. that is true. have experienced it recently when i spotted this train.

Subeesh Venugopal~ 6165 blog postsWorst seats. You will find mice here and there so be careful while sleeping. Very unclean coaches as too old rakes. Railways should pay attention towards this train as passengers are not travelling for free.
Most of the trains running to Kerala runs with old rusty coaches which are close to retirement.Most of these coaches were once used by other state rail divisions like Tamilnadu,Andhra which lobbies for new coaches.While traveling on Swarna Jayanti express,12643 a local passenger train running in Andhra Pradesh was seen with new clean coaches.This is the general condition of trains running from Kerala.
I know they steal our coaches.. Still see the pic attached.. A general toilet in this shitty train

NR rocks.. I couldn't believe people travelled in this from ASR to KCVL
we have to think twice to travel in SR trains runs from or to Kerala
south Indian people have used to these kind of trains especially coastal Karnataka and Kerala people
The rake maintenance is worst in south India. Moreover we always get used and rusty rakes from other divisions.
moreover a weekly train so cannot expect any cleanliness from anyone.

BarBossa^~ 5072 blog postsbut at least i found it better than the food in 12625 Kerala express. here at least we get samosas and other snacks in between but in kerala express there is rarely any such snacks. also the food is better and has more quantity on 12484.
Now Kerala express has improved a lot.. You will know if you travel
