Traveled in this train on 11.10.2014 from KCG-TPJ...average occupancy in SL and in AC coaches..No pantry car...it is a standalone rake and no RSA with any train route..till DHNE lot of crossings caused delay of about 1 hr to ATP..but took speed and reached PAK 20 min late..loco was reversed and after that maintained good speed till ED..Reached ED by 40 min late @ 1 am.Again loco reversal and maintained high speed from ED-TPJ which covered the 140 KM stretch by exactly 2 hrs and reached TPJ 5 min ahead of schedule... Breakfast can be had in GWD/MBNR , Lunch can be had in DMM , Dinner can be had in PAK[hot idli's are available]...for heavensake dont buy or order the food... more...
inside the compartment as it is costly and rotten... frequent cleanliness is maintained by a contractor in AC/Non-AC coaches as he collects all the waste tea cups , empty food packets for every 1 hour...cleans the coach with cleaning acids in 5 hr intervals Nice move by SCR in cleaning the coaches. except catering this rain is worth to travel by all means..
