Very good speed between MAJN to SRR...
U will feel like u r in Rajdhani... Bcoz of less stops and good speed

YEs in terms of speed and punctuality ,its awesome especially between SRR and Mangalore .. also its has good patronage
That happens for short distance for most trains, where drivers have good terrain, and clean track. They can maneuver speed for short sectors.
Most probably in next budget, it should converted into BIWEEKLY
I hope new govt makes it Daily Running , as it is popular and has less travel time....
New Government is going to be renewed by 2019...

rp_m_2000 1 blog poststhis train runs ahead of time so u may miss stations, particularly between coimbatore to dindigul in new timing. i missed dindigul station while reached madurai near around 3 am. i have pick taxi and go back now.

Sorry to Differ you Sir in this Matter. In Our Indian Railways No Train is Allowed to Departure ahead of its scheduled Time. But at the same time it can Arrive before Time.
Sir this train enters Dindigul at 2 where all trains from chennai (8 trains) will be moving towards madurai ,Tirunelveli,cape,tn,tiruchendur being a weekly train if it takes more time in these stations overtakes happen before madurai....Where this has to reach destination correctly evan a minute delay makes this train to halt in another line..................

Once I went to station to see off guests departing by Alahajarat Bhuj Bareily departing around 13.16 ... we reached station at around 12.45. By this time train had already arrived and was stationed on platform. seeing train, and assuming halt of 2 minutes, we are ran towards train and every guest was tense...
