It's a nightmare train. Don't ever travel by this train. A Sheer result of railways negligence. Yesterday we traveled in C2 to HWH from PURI. It was a condemned coach . When we boarded AC wasn't working . After Passengers Started Shouting, Attendant Turned It On. Then We Realized That There Is No Water In The Lavatories. Immediate Launched A Complaint To Railway Through Twitter. Nothing Happened. Had To Travel 500 Odd Kms Without Water In Train. Next Time I Travel To Puri, DHAULI Will Never Be In My List
Since this train has pantry car, there will be no shortage of food in your journey. From tea to cutlet to bread omlette you will get everything. Also, there is no overcharging. Everything is charged as per IRCTC rates.
Not only in Dhauli but in Ispat as well. In Steel also the Pantry people serves in GEN. Interestingly Food items in Steel Express have increased after the removal of Pantry while migrating to LHB rake.
In many trains they come. In delhi to ranchi all trains GEN coaches you will get food. Only diff is in reserved bill is paid after meal whereas in GEN first pay, then get meal. I have seen this in 12826/74/18/25/17/73.
IRCTC have a list of Company to supply Packaged Drinking Water at ₹15 per bottle. These companies have got the contract. Many new companies are given contract too like AquaSure.
In AC CC(C2), two charging outlets present for every alternate row of seats. For example, seat nos 1,2,3,4 does not have charging points but 5,6,7,8,9 has them. Also along with charging points, mobile charging holder is also present
Train cleaning is done(in CC) by relevant people. They will pick the trash you store in front of your seats. Also in the end, they will ask for tips. Overall, I found the train to be clean.
