What will SR try to achieve by delinking the rakes of PC and MS-CAPE? Pathetic to see the way the zone is functioning. They didnt even care to build a pitline at CAPE and decongest NCJ.

Because they are nothing but lazy. SR especially MS/MAS div base has lost many prestigious train cause they do not want to handle it anymore mentioning they are saturated and will make a way for new trains. Some examples include MAS bangalore mail, mumbai mail, Howrah mail, mumbai express, TVC mail (now in cbe base), Cape express (used to MS base now and then made as SWR train and then TN base and now back to SWR). Boat mail, Ananthapuri gone out of MS base. God knows what I missed in this list. All these are good trains MAS/MS gave up to other base/zones.
It should be evident when Salem - Chennai Egmore is running with CR rake for nearly a decade.

## This New bypass line to be added on Atlas map as the work for this project is progressing fast and likely to be completed by end of October—2024.

Road connectivity is there in the form of highways since I recently drove down from Gokarna till MAJN city... was very good in terms of scenery.... but yes coming to ur point, there should be more... might come soon in reality...👍👍
KRCL does not get Union government funds through the railway budget allocation. All its projects are financed from its own receipts or long-term borrowings.
Indian Railway Zones get funds both from Ministry of Railway (More than 90%) as well as in the form of Capital investments from IRFC (Less than 10%) but there's no external debt involved.
