In short and in general Vande metro should act as a intra city EMU for the Vande Metro title but it is going to act as a intercity MEMU, thus i said that.
Name is different from its intended purpose, that's it.
Metro term should be reserved for any new developments in EMU segment.

The image u mentioned contains allotment of AC local EMUs. You have misunderstood what I've said.
Underlying component/concept of both VB & VM is an MEMU/EMU, I'm not denying it.
