Imagine the slack time....between KOTA JN. & MTJ.
WAP 5 loco, LHB Rakes, MPS of 150kmph & average speed less then 50kmph.
Waste of resources.

No need. SDAH Rajdhani is slower then SDAH Duranto. In fact, SDAH Duranto is even faster then HWH Rajdhani. Even YPR-DEE Duranto's average speed is more t
then SBC-NZM Rajdhani..
then SBC-NZM Rajdhani..
What is the reason that they are not speeding up the train.........
Why does IR and WR does not understand the calibre of LHB TRAINS......
A duronto which is slower than mumbai rajdhani, august kranti rajdhani, trivandrum rajdhani, bdts-nzm garrib rath and yuva express.........
The condition of the train will worsen if not paid attention......

Yes, I loved BCT-NDLS Duranto too. One of few trains that actually get you to NDLS, not just Delhi. Another interesting point about this train is that if you make a to & fro journey by this train, you can actually see the whole BCT NDLS stretch in broad day light.
In fact it's quite rare on IR. Most of the long distance trains, a return journey more or less will result in the same stretch during day time. Only other train I can think of is LTT-ERS Duranto.

Yup I would suggest make it daily Rajdhani, let it depart Mumbai Central at 23:00 to arrive New Delhi at 15:00 hrs d next day..
Similarly return journey should leave at 23:15 hrs, to reach Mumbai Central by 15:30..
Halts Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Kota..
