Its not an era , TVC & MAQ mail was via CBE earlier , CBE lost 40 seats to TVC in TVC superfast , KPD lost GNWL in the same train . More over there are not more trains to CBE , Nigiri, Cheran , Kovai, Intercity, MAS weekly, Shatabdi in GNWL other passing by trains have very meagre quota whereas TVC has TVC mail , TVC superfast , Ananthapuri , MAS weekly, Super AC in GNWL towards MAS. CBE to MAS travelling people are much higher than TVC to MAS. Now see the comparison. CBE has 6 and TVC has 5. CBE people find very difficult to get seat towards MAS. A city outside TN has 5 whereas the 2nd biggest city in TN (4th Most Populous agglomeration in South ) has only 6 .
