Thiruvananthapuarm / Mangalore long distance passenger beyond Pothanur are very much affected during routed through Coimbatore Jn by the extra distance,extra travel time and extra additional Fares .At-least some and alternative EXP / SF routed through Irugur-Podanur and one minute stoppages at Irugur and Podanur for the Coimbatore area passenger.Coimbatore Jn area is very much crowded and traffic blockages are common .To ease and relieve some pressure in CbE Jn, Podanur Jn and Irugur Jn should be developed as second and third terminal and some of the trains are routed through the CBE jn.
