correct , the roll back of mumbai local fare was only because of assembly elections.
Highly impossible to increase more than 20% of MST FARES in MUMBAI.
190/ rupeess one month suburban was costing 450/, was it 14 % ?
Rly passes were nearly doubled fo the mumbaikars by IR,
ccg-vr suburban rly pass which was 280 rs was increased to 645 rs,
which was in anyway not acceptable for mumbaikars.....this had to be rolled back by modi,
whether for the october assembly elections or for some other reason.....
