more... wish RB/SR/SWR should consider a train between MAS-SBC in between Brindavan and Intercity. After 7.50am, the next train available is only at 1.35pm. Time Gap of 5hr 45min. I think if some train is introduced around 10.30 or 11. It will be good and surely will get good patronage.
The train was waiting at MAS PF3 for it departure, and as expected general compartments were full and Second sitting were occupied by only reserved people. Train got starter only at 1:40PM. A delayed start by 5min. Initial run was really pathetic, it was moving in speed, which can be sad as neither good, nor bad. As each station passes by delay was getting increased, further it was increased with overtake of PATNA-SBC Premum Special. The delayed finally reached upti 35min by the time the train left Katpadi. Sceen in second sittings were changing. Now it is becoming like General compartment. The TV was on, tamil comedy clips were shown, film Indian/Anniyan etc etc were played. Not fully. But from here and there. Few Clips. As the train left JTJ, the speed got increased. Then it started showing what real SF is. The program in TV changed from Tamil to Kannada and english some dance shows. It was still finding tough to maintain the time since only slack i found was in between Banglore CANT and SBC. Finally it reached SBC 10min late. There was drastic change in weather. From Hot chennai to Cool Bangalore.
Catering: At MAS, you will be getting Biriyani's. Further Tea, Soup, Coffee. Evening snacks include Vada, cutlet, bhaji, samoosa, Masala dosa, bread omelet.
Maintainance and cleaniness: I dont think i need to describe it. Train belongs to "SWR" so you can guess. SWR you are great.. SR people should go and learn from them.
Punctuality: Will give above average. Eventhough late, it had good run, and somewhat managed to keep up the TT when it reached Bangalore
Things to be changed: Eventhough tough call for TTE, unreserved passengers should be avoided in reserved coaches especially in secon sitting, where there is no scope of adjustment. All will be standing, which will be hampering the movement of catering staff and passengers who wish to go to bathrooms.
