RFIR~ 6848 blog postsNot too sure whether it is an error in the timing mentioned but it is impossible to cover the distance between Palakkad and Thrissur in just 30 minutes !!! As per the timings mentioned, Palakkad-Thrissur takes 30 minutes and Palakkad-ernakulam takes only 2 hours !!

Since there is a speed restriction between Shoranur byepass/Shoranur-Thrissur sector, there is not a single train which covers the PGT-ERS stretch in 2 hours . The fastest train is SbC-ERS intercity exp which probably takes 2 hours 30 minutes. Other superfast trains like Chennai Mail, Kerala express take almost 3 hours so quite surprising that 2 hours is allotted for this train. In any case if it does cover it would be really good and other trains should follow the same time duration.
