Is premium trains are profitable, incase trivandrum central(tvc)? banglr-tvc, guwhati-tvm premiums. is it profitable? i cant understand.

One Prem from Jaipur was cancelled due to poor patronage.

popular becaz short distance and more demand due to huge wl list in other trains
it will be profitable on some routes.......people are ready to pay exhorbitant prices to redbus blah blah on weekends ...IR too wants to mint some money from those pockets....
tvc-sbc premium runs 6 days a weak. :-) swr gets huge amount of money.
Even YPR-Belgaum Premium got sold-out full some 5days before the journey...
