Sir, I have a query. I live near guntkul junction currently but can be transferred to bangalore in December. I need to book a ticket to jaipur in december on the train number 12975. This train reaches 12.50 at SBC and guntkul at 19.15. My doubt is that I can be either at guntkul or Bangalore on the date of journey So how should I book the ticket? Option 1) I book ticket - Reservation from bangalore and boarding from guntkul. In this case If i board on bangalore itself whether I will be fined?. Option 2) I book ticket- Reservation from bangalore and boarding from bangalore. In this case if I board from guntkul whether my ticket will be considered cancelled?. Kindly advise

if u be fined, u will be charged more amount than the entire ticket would cost. Moreover your seat from SBC to Guntkul will be given to someone else. Better book 2 tickets, one from SBC and another from Guntkul and cancel one after u are confirmed about your boarding station.
How can we change boarding point 24 hrs before once the ticket is booked...please xplain
Approach your nearest PRS with a request letter of with a fresh resvn form and the ticket. Usually gets done easily without hassles Raka.
you just have to write an application to change ur boarding point with fresh reservation form and submit it to nearest PRS counter with your Valid ID card's xerox..
the PRS booking clerk gonna change the boarding point but you have to submit ur request 24hrs before the train departure from the source station..
and you can change ur boarding point only once.. :)
