what usually happens is, if tickets are available in Current reservation AFTER chart preparation, they will show up here itself. Just query for SBC to Hubli and you will find seats available for 8th morning departure though chart is prepared. If it shows "Not Available", then Chart is prepared and there are no seats left in Current. Or else you have to visit the Current reservation counter at SBC that usually opens at 5am.

How crowded is Lal Bagh express on saturdays?

Gen will not be that crowded at SBC but will be packed after BNC and KJM. It will be shunted to PF1 b/w 5.30 and 6 sometimes earlier than 5.30 and you are likely to get a seat in GEN. I assume you are going to AJJ or MAS, if you dont get a seat in Lalbagh, you can go to PF2 and get a seat in ICE comfortably. It will be shunted to PF2 by 5am before Lalbagh is shunted.
